The airbrush craped out on us so these are all spray cans:

Bought 11 kits at the beginning of the winter. I've finished 9 of them. I'm tired of working on them and since my goofing off time is limited I'd rather spend it fishing at this point than in the basement working on lures.
I'll probably do a few more next winter but this is the last of them for this year.

Great job! You should definitely do some damage in the water with those. What happened to the brush????

Re: Last of the Salty's kits.
Thanks guys.
Hopefully I'll catch on these. To be honest with you though I'd be just as happy catching on something of yours. Or anything really, for that matter.
I just started Striper fishing last spring and haven't landed a fish yet so at this point I'll take whatever I can get.
Joe,
I'm not sure what happened to the brush. We were working with a cheapie my buddy (jfv1) picked up at Harbor Freight and it wasn't a great tool to begin with. A few too many late nights saw it dropped a time too many and now it just spits paint reagrdless of what we do.
If we get back into this in the spring we'll have to throw in together and pick up a better brush but this was the best we could afford this year.

Re: Last of the Salty's kits.
Sounds like the needle point is bent or there is some paint build-up around the point. You may have done this already but play around with the paint consistancy and air pressure, you may be able to salvage the brush till you get another one. and most importantly make sure you clean it out regularly. Sometimes that's all a lower end brush needs.

Re: Last of the Salty's kits.
LOOKING GOOD.YOU SHOULD FIND FISH WITH THEM. NOTHING LIKE CATCHING FISH ON A PLUG THAT YOU BUILT. WHEN WORKING WITH AIRBRUSHS. YOU NEED TOO ALWAYS CLEAN THEM OUT. NEVER LET THEM SIT WITH PAINT IN THEM. GOOD LUCK WITH THEM.
Re: Last of the Salty's kits.
