New Game Warden

There is a new game warden in the back. He lives in the Cliffwood area. He is a young guy and is going all out to catch poachers. He said any time of night to call him. Warden Brian 609-209-8730

GREAT INFO!!!!!!!!! I put his name in my phone and found out he covers from Pt.Pleasant up to the RB!!!!Guy's this guy sounds really into it!!!!He encourages us to call him any time!!!!

His name is Brian Scott and I know him well. He is a great guy and means business!!! He grew up on LBI and is very well versed when it comes to fish.

yup i called him and he said it was ok .....

i just had to make sure first nothing against you ....

he was out in full force 2night i think his pen ran out of ink , he had fish in the pick up and a bunch of confiscated rods

i am so happy to hear that we actually have someone to take care of our fish for the future

It's ashame he's up north. Growing up in LBI I am sure he has seen his share of poachers. They are everywhere out there. Saw a couple throw a 24" bass in a bucket. When I told them that they have to be 28" they got a little rude with me. I told them that it's not my rule, it's the state's and that there was a size and bag limit sign about 30 feet away if they wanted to take a look. They muttered some gibrish to me in a far east dialect and left. They would not release the fish even after I pulled out my phone and notified them that I was calling fish and game. They simply said, " we'll be gone before they get here.".

Skippy can we add this guy and others like him added to the state forums. The link to the regulations pages are good, but game warden contacts for various areas would be a big plus as well.

Brian is a great guy, I just spoke with him, an info sticky with his contact# would be fine, but I only have tools for my forum. I e-mailed one of the big cheeses, we will see :study:

hey skippy i know brian real well he is a great guy and is always looking for accurate infomation about people stealing our natural resourse including illgal crabbing and clamming not just fish jfp

Doing some summer cleaning today…the garage is….well lets just say you couldn’t see the floor yesterday.

I typically stay out of peoples business and mind my own, but I witnessed a duffel get filled with tog (limit of 4 for four people) and taken to the car a hand full of times earlier this spring. Was going to notify a ranger, but they were stopped on the way out.
