finally got a freshwater license and stamp for this year. hit a couple of different areas. nothing to show on the first stop except my small rapala hanging from a limb. found a good school of yellow perch at the end of my travels and had about ten. they all took a tiny plastic grub bait.

Trout Season opens this Saturday. I didn't get a license last year but I will probably get one this year. Although I dont fish the fresh as much as I used to and when I do it usually at our lake club and I dont need a license, I'll probably take my son to some more spots around us this year.
