Spring is fast on it's way,The toothy critters come alive this time of year.I knoe Pike come up shallow into weedy bays to feed and spawn this time of year. The muskies put on the feed bag and hunt during the spring sucker run,in tributaries from waters like the Delaware river. There are pleanty of waters in PA,and NJ where these fish can be sought.Rock on Smitty I bet they'll hit your plugs!!

Jim, thats sounds good but you don't have to go that far to get them. There arte alot of spots locally to to get them.....size wise nothing beats Canada and more northern spots in the US.fishincrazy wrote:smitty wrote:well i say we plan somethig to get a few guys together to do a little fishing for them..... :face:

Check the area around the Neshaminy State Park Fish the outgoing tide!!!Also look into going a little N and hitting from Trenton to New Hope.Remember A Pa license is good on both sides of the river. You should also hit uo the guy at Brinkmans B&T He's a good dude He can turn you on to some good fishing right in the city!!!

WOW THERE'S ALL KIND OF OPTIONS.I LIKE BIG INLINS SPINNERS,AND BIG SWIMMIN BAITS.THE BEST THING TO DO IS FIND THE BIGGER LURES YOU HAVE AND HERE IN ABOUT 2 WEEKS HIT THE RIVER IN AND AROUND THE NESHAMINY STATE PARK.YOUR GONNA CAST A WHOLE BUNCH JUST TO GET A FISH BUT ONE FISH IS WORTH IT!!!!!!

How big of a boat would be needed for St. Clair? I have a 16ft Lund Predator.I'm thinking it is not enough boat for this big of a water.I would love to do a weeks Vacation sometime and just Musky fish. I've been collecting some lures lately to throw and troll.I musky fished years ago but got out of it.But now the wife and I have gone full circle and want to get into it again. I have some good lakes here in western Pa. and Ohio and plan to hit Chatuqua in NY .But I do know serious musky guys always mention St.Clair.

muskies
st clair is a good lake and 16ft is good. we always get a weather report. in summer its normally calm. theres plenty of places to get out of winds if they come up..fall fishing is 199 ft from the marina.
