Gliders are king!
I have really been liking the action that this 5" glider pattern has.. you know when you see a lure in the water & you just can tell it will be killer..?
So, a few colour combos to add to the lure box.
This one, got a bit carried away on the sander.. so a tad 'slim-line'.. but it wiggles ok & dives a bit deeper than it's fatter cousins, so I'll keep it. Looks a good colour to fish over the kelp, I think.
I have been experimenting with the weighting & it is interesting how it varies the action. I like these, that go 1oz. by the way, because they have good side-flash, which I think is a symptom of a struggling fish.
Thanks to all those that may notice their influence in these designs.

Re: Gliders are king!
Thanks Handyman.
We do call that stuff Water Celery, it even smells like it! But it's not edible, well, cows like it.. so if you have the constitution of an ox, perhaps. It grows all along the banks of our streams & rivers; dies right back in the winter & then springs up like crazy every spring. Grows quite big & likes to snag your flies & lures every chance it gets, ha ha!
