Friday at IBSP
Myself, Handyman and a friend of Bruce's, Jim hit the beach Friday. After a little running the beach we found some fish.
Bruce had a nice bass and I had 2 shorts and a short flounder. I know Bruce had to have more but when we moved again I wasn't close enough to see him and Jim.
Bruce pulled out around 11am when it slowed, but I stayed and fished into the evening and had 2 weakfish on the evening tide change.
Mid day I got the fly rod out but with a 15mph wind at my back I had to hard of a time with my back casts and after 1hr gave up.
It was the first long day fishing with my knee replacement ( 6 weeks now ) all went great. the only problem is the leg is out of shape and was the muscles were sore the next day. Why did I wait so long to have this replacement. I think more fishing will help

Re: Friday at IBSP
I gave it another try today in the surf. i managed 3 hickory shad and 2 short flounders.
A good west wind had the ocean so flat it looked like a lake. I hate when it's like that.
Didn't see a bass caught all day, but there were sand eel pods every where. The friend I met at the park had 2 hickories.
Damn this is nice fishing all day with no more pain in the knee.
