IBSP to reopen

i just read IBSP will reopen as soon as south seaside opens. access will be limited to gillikins to bathing beach 1. buggy permits are good till march 31st 2013. just read on another non sponsor website that as of 7am today seaside is open to the public. i was wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this? also some opinions as to whether or not it is wise to drive on the beach after the storm. i would assume there is alot of hazards semi buried in the sand.

ok so much for a certain shop and their information. seaside is not open to the public yet. i will keep up on this and post info as it becomes available.

Yea soon as berkley gives the ok i think thats when its a go for ibsp.

i am anxious to see what the surf line looks like. i havent been down since well before the storm.

I am to Dozer. I wonder what the surf structure is like after the storm.

I found this picture on another site. As you remember it was only the roof of the judges shack visible from he beach. it looks like alot of the beach was lost at this area.



I also found a picture of the replacement of the light tower on the south jetty at the inlet.




I wonder if there is still a pocket at the north jetty.

well the pocket didnt have much of a pocket.......it kinda filled in over the years.......hopefuly sandy dug it out...........looks like some nice water at the shack now.....nice pic.....sure glad it made it threw the storm

yeah the judges shack should have a lot more sand in front of it. from what i saw of the pocket it looked like all the sand where i used to park is gone and there is just some rocks there. at high tide i think there wont be anywhere to park. water will be to the dunes

charlie, the beach looks amazingly clean. i expected more trash and lumber there.

**The park is now open for fishing from 6:30am to 10pm!
The beach is now open all the way to A23. From A23 to the jetty is still closed.
We will be open at 6am Sunday and will anounce our new expanded hours on the morning fishing report!****

nice report jeffl.....from what i saw dozer theres a nice deep troff and a nice sand bar way out there.....looks like at low tide youll still have to swim out to the bar

good deal, i called the other day and they are selling permits at the office again so i will be down soon.

dozer .....we kinda live close to one another......anytime you want to hook up let me know..........i need a kick in the arse to get started
