Re: The Boat
Moved to the inside of the boat got the lights all working radio working Fish/depth finder all hoked up even put the original volt gauge i found in the boat back in and hooked up... Went with some swivel bucket seats it gives me much more room to move around the boat and i can swivel so no need for the sofa sized seats it had in them..
Just need to level them out some how...

Got a few things done on the motor that i found was wrong the first owner i guess went to replace the starter and never put it in the correct way and i kind of know why F-ING pain in the ass but i got it done.....
Also the electronic choke was not working got that all fixed also..
Playing with the idle and almost have it to what i want ..
Quick video of the motor running better then it has in years I'm sure....

if your gonna re-do the deck, dont carpet it..... texture it to a non slip surface and leave it fiber glass for easy cleaning.......

Re: The Boat
Just when i was thinking i was ready to float the boat i went over it one more time with a fine tooth comb and realized i never tested the motor really at hi rpm for more then a few seconds.Come to find out if i ran the motor more then idle speed the bulb would go soft and motor would bog down.I did some digging around and found a tiny little barb fitting with nothing on it so i started to look for its other end the hose and found it tucked away out of sight. This hose it what keeps the fuel flowing lol hooked it up and cleaned out the carbs one last time and she really runs great hi rpm and low rpm.....Its really mind blowing to me that this boat was a $400 purchase and only took a few dollars to get her ready and up to snuff.......

Re: The Boat
I shouldn't say this but what the hell.
Capt. make sure you have a waterproof bag with all the emergency phone numbers on a list so anybuddy can find them and call in case they have to.

Re: The Boat
Awesome i just got back all the paperwork from the guy i bought the boat from in order to register the trailer......
The trailer had no title and was registered as homemade and thats fine but in order to do it now as homemade its like jumping threw hoops of fire naked covered in gas.......
I asked the lady at DMV and she told me that the reason its so hard to do now it cause everyone abused the system and now in order to stop it them make it dam near imposable to register a homemade trailer but if you have the old registration its a snap so thats what i got plus him to fill out a simple form..
Now just need to get it notarized on Monday and back to DMV i go...
