Penn Reels

Penn will again make the 704 Z & 706 Z and in the USA out of their Philly location.

They broke the news on their Facebook Page this morning. A great workhorse back in production like the Z Series along with the Torque, Spinfisher V and the Battle. They have a real nice line up of reels for the Surfisherman in my opinion. It hits lots of different price points and exstremes for the Surf fisherman.

I would hope the make it to the same spec and standard as the old ones....i own quite a few things by them in my opinion Penn has **** the bed lately when compared to their older products.

the parts between the new ones and old ones are supose to be interchangable................

i cant wait to get a new 704.............I have my grandpops old 704, and it the reel on my main pluggin stick. iv used it the past 3 or 4 fall runs.

and they are gonna be made here in philly

from what i understand, they are gonna be just like the old reels...........But $200 each.
