Prayer for Grandmom

Sorry for this just needed somewhere to vent a little... My grandmother has been in and out of the hospital for the last few years battling diabetes along with some other medical issues.. Well this past week she went back into the hospital due to her bloodsugar dropping to 27. Well the have her stable in the hospital now. She was last in the hospital 4 months ago for the same issue. Well in that time they have now found cancer in her stomach and in her lung cavity.. Today the doctor came in with tears in her eyes since she is the same age as grandmom and has been seeing her since the age of 21. Said she has no idea how it came on so fast and spread even faster. She pulled the family out of the room to tell us to just stay positive and hope for the best but its not looking good. But a little history about me and my grandmother. She pretty much raised me as her own son due to my mom having me at a younger age and having to work 2 jobs. So grandmom has always been there for me and has done everything for me and has pretty much made me who i am now. This may be the hardest thing for me to ever deal with. Once again sorry for putting this here just needed to let it all out...

Prayers and thoughts with you buddy ..I know how you feel I was close to my Grandmother just like you ...Tore me up inside watching what she went through ...was by her side till the day she passed ...hang in there buddy you have family and friends that will always be here for you ...GOD BLESS

Sorry to head this bad news Jeff. It is so hard to see a loved one go threw this kind of thing.

I think one of the most important things, and it is hard for a lot of us to do, is to let them know how much you love them and how positively they have affected your life.

Prayers will be said for your Family in these hard times. If you need to vent more I am always here.
Again prayers will be said for your Grandma and your Grandfather and your family.

We are actuall going thru something very similar with Mandy's grandmother so I kinda have an idea of what you are dealing with...

Well grandmom had her first treatment today. They are giving her 8 months to a year. Doctor said she is going to do the best to give her a good quality of life for the remaining time. She said quality is better then quantity. She will be doing 2 chemo sessions a week till further notice.. This has brought the family alot closer just sucks its under these circumstances...

Keep your head up and stay positive bro..... It's what you,her, and everyone else in the family needs to do....
