Teasers Teasers and more Teasers

Total newbie question......How do you use these? Would I want to use these in some place like the Cape cod canal? How do you toss them out? Or are these for fly fishing?

People use the teaser on the leader before the plug.. Everyone has the prefrence on the distance between the teaser and plug... Maybe start off by cheacking google or youtube to see how some people set up theres.

Attach it to the middle of the leader with a dropper loop.

Once you know how to tie the dropper loop, tie one on your leader about 30-36 inches above your clip. (I had heard that the teaser should be spaced about the length of a striper away from your plug). Feed the loop through the eye of the hook on the teaser and double the loop back over the teaser and pull tight. That's about it. I fish a teaser on just about anything except a popper. I find it just jumps out of the water when you pop, but maybe that's a good thing as well. I've caught a good number of bass and fluke on the teaser.
