Canal this last weekend

I had no luck! I was throwing Northbars, crippled herring, pencil poppers in the morning, even busted out the atom plugs. Fish were breaking and swirling all around, but no takers.

How did you guys do?

hay jimmy your story reminds me when i went to chattum in the spring.....i was flyswatting ( flyfishing )......in the ponds late at night there where sandeels everywhere........and fish where busting water gulping at the surface and these where some big fish......but no real takers........they wher targeting a certain bait....but they didnt take my sandeel .......i could only suspect ultra shrimp cause in my stripping basket i saw to live shrimp.....and of course i didnt have any......and the fish were just as fussy in brewster to
