Hello guys..... this is my father Pete and Stevels brother...... he was my best friend in this world and I lost him 3yrs ago. it was not for him I might not of ever been introduced to fishing, as great father he introduced me to alot of awesome things in my life like baseball and wrestling and motorcycles...... sometimes holding down up to 3 jobs to keep the family a float and always making time for me know matter how tired he was, just realizing this now by the way.... as a kid you dont really see sacrfices that your parents make for you..... the day we took this picture was about a month before losing him to suicide, why I will never know which is the hardest part...... the day we took this picture together was a great day we went out riding our motorcycles down the beach and got breakfast at one of his favorite spots right on the water and after riding we barbaqued and celebrated the 4th of July....... he was a man who loved his country and extremley proud to call himself an American..... the holidays have always been hard since the loss of him, but now having my own son its a little bit easier.... still missing him alot though, as I am typing this tearing up for the hurt I still feel and looking down at the floor as my sons playing w/ his rattles and looking at himself in a miiror while giggling...... it makes me realize how proud that I am to be a father and can only try to be a pimple on the ass of him to be as good as a father to my son as he was to me.....
just thought I would share....
thanx Rocco

Lefty passed just after this original post for Dorothy, skippy wrote:Dorothy Carr,
For a while I ate at this womans table everynight, on the nights I worked late, they would wait for me before they would eat..
After dinner it was always the same, Lefty and I would hit the basement, till it was time for me to go home usually always after 11.. As I was leaving she was always handing me a bag, usually leftovers or maybe lunch for the following day,, There was no end to this ladys giving, and I am a better person for knowing her, she will surely be missed....
